We had the pleasure of carrying out an order that involved the preparation of three special platforms designed for the transport of flat components. A key requirement of the project was to design the platforms in such a way that they were stackable, in order to optimise the cargo space and facilitate the loading and unloading process.
Due to the considerable length of the items to be transported, it was necessary to use a larger 40′ shipping container. The choice of this type of container was dictated by the need to ensure sufficient space for the safe transport of the three platforms and their cargo, which was a considerable challenge given the container’s large size and the fact that it had to carry only the platforms.
This required not only precise planning of the platform design, but also careful positioning and securing of the platforms within the container. It was equally important to evenly distribute the weight of the load in the container to avoid stability problems.
