Pakowanie do transportu - Relokacja maszyn i urządzeń

As part of this project, we were tasked with packing a technical container with electrical installation for sea transport to Kuwait.

Packing at the customer’s site

Due to the size of the container and the specific nature of its contents, packing was carried out directly at the customer’s yard. This enabled us to adapt our activities precisely to the conditions on site and the specifics of the container.

Preparation of the platform and immobilisation of the container

For the transport of the container, we prepared a solid 7.5-metre-long platform. Before placing the container on the platform, we placed a separation material on top of it to provide additional protection against mechanical damage. In addition, we used HT technical wood slats to immobilise the container, which guaranteed stability and safety during transport.

Vacuum packing

The container was packed using vacuum technology, also known as vacuum packing. For this, we used both moisture absorbers and a special barrier ALU film. Vacuum packing effectively protects against moisture and corrosion, which is crucial for long-term sea transport.

Box wrapping and additional protection

After packing the container in vacuum foil, the whole thing was encased in a box. The cargo had impressive dimensions: more than 7.5 metres long, 3 metres wide and more than 3 metres high. To provide additional protection, we covered the roof of the crate with a special tarpaulin dedicated to this type of packaging. This type of tarpaulin is used when the cargo is transported to the loading area by an uncovered means of transport, such as a platform or flatbed truck container.
