Wooden boxes are the first type of transport packaging we produce. They are very durable. A wooden transport box allows safe and relatively easy loading onto car trailers and into containers. In most cases, our boxes are manufactured from pine. On request, they can be individually equipped with locks, fittings, wheels or any other colour.
Solid wood boxes for transporting large and/or heavy items, whose centre of gravity is often located in an unusual place. They are ideal for sea transport and, enriched with components to protect the goods from moisture, guarantee that your goods will be delivered to the customer in consistently excellent condition.
We use various types of raw or certified wood for our wooden packaging.
Boxes made of raw wood can only be used for transport within the European Union. We mostly produce pine boxes. These boxes are suitable for the transport of machinery, equipment, constructions and other objects.
ISPM-15/ IPPC approved boxes are otherwise known as fumigated wood boxes. Formally, fumigation is the process of controlling pests through the use of appropriate chemicals (fumigants) in the form of smoke or gas. Pests in wood are also controlled through the application of heat and such wood is often referred to as fumigated in common language, although it has not actually been fumigated.
Both processes – fumigation and temperature treatment – result in pest-free and ISPM-15-certified timber called IPPC. The use of the ISPM-15 standard when packing goods in transport boxes is intended to protect local stands of wood from pests carried in the packaging, thereby protecting the environment. Approved wood boxes are used for transport outside the European Union.
Each wooden box is marked accordingly. This facilitates loading and unloading and makes it clear to transport companies how to handle the crate.
