For one of our clients, we carried out a complex packing service for dozens of pieces of equipment of various sizes for sea transport. This project involved several key stages, each of which required precise planning and delivery to ensure the safety and efficiency of the entire logistics process.
We placed each packed unit in a case that was custom-made to measure. In some of the boxes, we used metal trusses to provide a base for the equipment to be shipped. The entire structure of the cases was attached to the trusses, and then we carefully secured the contents inside using professional packing methods. This ensured that the cargos had adequate protection and fitted perfectly into their packaging. This strategy optimises the space in the container and minimises the risk of shifting during transport.
The next step was vacuum packing in ALU foil, which provides protection against moisture, corrosion and other external factors. Each unit was individually protected, creating ideal conditions for sea transport. The ALU foil effectively protects delicate components and provides an airtight seal, eliminating the risk of damage.
The stowage of cases in containers for sea transport was the final element of this project. Our task was to plan the stowage of the boxes in such a way as to make full use of the available space, minimise the possibility of shifting and simplify the loading process. This was a major logistical undertaking, requiring careful planning and coordination.
The client also benefited from a customs clearance service, which was carried out by the customs office at a recognised location on our premises. Thanks to an efficient loading process, the three containers were packed and cleared within a few hours. The logistics of this process were very important for the customer and for timely transport to the final destination.
